These Are The Basic Scuba Diving Techniques For Beginners

Beginner divers do feel that I have ever felt before, afraid, happy, nervous, between being able and not be able to dive, and also they feel shy but willing to dive anyway. Therefore in order to strengthen your desire to take scuba lessons, you need to consider some of the following self-control techniques.

Here are the techniques for beginner scuba divers:

1. Do the Right Entry Technique

Entry or process of entering the water is a process where you will feel very scared and happy. This process is not too hard to do, and you can do it in several ways, it is when you dive in the water or jump while you are already wearing Scuba gears in your body. The recommended way is to install a scuba tool in the water as soon as you learn it.

2. Follow the instructions given by the instructor

You will certainly be assisted by a diving master as your coach. Follow all instructions and diving activities, usually, you will be briefed before you enter the water. Do it obediently so that you can learn step by step so you get comfortable in diving.

3. Perform Correct Body Movements

The body position will greatly affect your diving/buoyancy in water. For your body to be as comfortable as possible to make a move, there is no need to rush because there is nothing that needs to be done in the beginner’s dive. Also, you must do the movement of the hand/foot properly so that it can produce strong power and you won’t get tired quickly.

4. Equalizing When Down

Equalizing is the act of adjusting the pressure in the ear to the outside of the body. The method that can be used is by closing the nostrils and then removing the air from the nose with your hands still squeezing your nose, or you can swallow your saliva (this is usually done by those who are already professionals). For equalizing time, do it as often as possible. Don’t feel sick until you equalize. As much as possible if you enter every 1 meter do equalization even though your ears don’t feel sick/depressed.

5. Don’t Feel Afraid and Enjoy

This diving activity is an expensive activity, so if you can’t enjoy it, it’s useless to waste a lot of money on things you don’t enjoy. Besides that, the diving activity is an activity that in my opinion is very enjoyable and comfortable because it is in the water with sufficient time and seeing the scenery of coral reefs, fish, and other marine creatures directly are the most interesting experience in life.

6. Pass the Certification Test

Before making the dive, you should pass a diving certification exam to be done at PADI or other diving organizations. There you will get lessons and techniques on a basic and important way for diving.
